Journaling 30-day-trial, Day 16
February 13th, 2008 by Bill Perry in 30-day-trials, Personal Development, journalingJust more general purpose journaling here. Journaling each day seems daunting in the moment, until I actually just sit down and do it. Sounds like so many other things worth doing in life, doesn’ it?
Here goes:

I am cutting this journal entry a bit close. I’ve been thinking about a lot of stuff lately.
Ever since watching the movie “Stealth”, I’ve been thinking and reading about Pulse Detonation Engines (PDE) for Aircraft. I wonder if commercial airliners could operate more efficiently with it.PDE is the coolest thing I’ve heard of in a long time.
I think I would like to do podcasting more than the ONE podcast I created. It’s just very difficult currently because there’s always somebody in the house and the background noise here is sometimes crazy. Maybe I can arrange to use a local recording studio on a barter arrangement?
I wonder if photoreading a bunch of math books will make me more likely to be good at math?
I’d really like to dabble in number theory, but from the sounds of it, that takes a lot of school.
I know that photoreading isn’t a magic bullet, but I think it’s at least a step in the right direction. There are so many thing I am interested in, I definitely think it’s hard focusing on them. What I would like to do is be good at synthesizing ideas from seemingly unrelated things like Bill Gates and Seth Godin seemingly do with ease.
I’m still working on how to drill my general purpose of “being the catalyst for change that people need in their lives” to a specific purpose that I can actually build into a business.
